Resume
Background
Born in Texas, and raised in Mexico, I've been lucky enough to have traveled around the globe, living in many different places and countries, learning from a wide range of cultures and perspectives; giving me a great passion for exploration, learning and experimenting.
Design has always been my passion, finding solutions for difficult problems, questioning the way things are done and finding new ways of approaching things.
Experience
FOX Racing - Irvine, Ca.
Sep 2018 - Current
Working as part of the Hard Goods ID team that designs Global product for MX and MTB categories. This includes Helmets, Guards, Goggles, and Boots, with some smaller projects here and there.
I've had the opportunity to work on multiple projects that span MTB helmets, MX guards, high-end MX helmets and goggles. Working with developers and factories throughout China to carry projects from conception to production. Some of the projects that I've worked on will release to market throughout multiple seasons in 2021.
Zodiac Aerospace - Gainesville, Tx.
Jul 2012 - Sept 2016
Worked as an Industrial designer for Zodiac Seats U.S. a division of Zodiac Aerospace that specializes in passenger aircraft seating and cabin interiors. I worked within the R&D department developing new product lines and product improvements to our legacy airline seats.
I was lucky enough to be able to work on multiple development projects of new seat platforms collaborating with other international & national seat divisions (UK, France, California, Seattle). Many of the projects that I worked on went on to make it into the product seat line ups and production line.
I was also fortunate to be part of a handful of patents that provided Zodiac Seats with an advantage over its competitors, helping maintain and increase market share and securing large contracts with several international airlines.

Hard problems, new challenges & venturing into the unknown is where I find the most thrill and satisfaction.
